Summary | 0003151: Kali bug tracker database cannot be accessed via Tor
Description | Your "Sucuri" cloudy firewall seems to block every Tor IP I've tried. No doubt their machine learning has observed the astonishing fact that most DoS attacks occur via Tor nodes. So in that sense, the block is sort of reasonable. However, this makes it very difficult to maintain anonymity and access this site. One solution, which is not really secure at all, is to use Tor to access this website via a free proxy server. Fixing this would make it a lot easier for this ostensibly security-oriented community here to collaborate.
Steps To Reproduce | Try to log into the Kali bug database via Tor. (I mean, what other browser would a security expert use?)
Even more odd, the home page is blocked. Accessing kali.org or www.kali.org was blocked. Viewing the downloads page www.kali.org/downloads/ is blocked, but viewing cdimage.kali.org is not blocked. Viewing bugs.kali.org works OK, but searches and signing up and commenting are blocked. Viewing forums.kali.org is OK, but registering is blocked at endless captcha. |

Thanks for the report. This is not a Kali bug, closing. |
