Summary	0003183: Gnome-shell segmentation fault
Description	Every time when a user is logged in Kali 2016.2 using gdm3 in a gnome session, a gnome-shell segmentation fault error appears: 26.445494] gnome-shell[704]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp 00007ffc24728c88 error 14 in gnome-shell[400000+4000] [ 27.505365] gnome-shell[774]: segfault at 300000018 ip 00007f9239e100b9 sp 00007ffd8d38a270 error 4 in libX11.so.6.3.0[7f9239dd7000+13c000]

Is the login successful or not?

carlopmart 2016-03-30 06:35 reporter ~0005050	Good morning Raphael, Sorry for this later response. I've solved the problem. I have added WaylandEnable=false in daemon's section for gdm3 daemon.conf file and this fix the problem. It seems that using nvidia-340 driver causes this problem with wayland. I've tested under archlinux and change also works (with the same symptoms). Many thanks.
