| Description | Hi, After upgrading the my Kali to latest release 2016-03-18, my menu bar disappeared i.e., i can no longer see 'Applicatioins, Places' on it except 'Activity' I tried performing below, no luck all of the packages are up-to-date but still no luck Please help me thank you | ||||

I got this, i managed to get this by tweak tool. However i do want to know why this happened in the first case, does it have to do anything with the update? Second thing: is there any way to restore the view through terminal? thank you |

This happens when the shell crashes in some extension AFAIK, it disables extensions as a safety measure. And then you have to re-enable them. |
