Summary0003282: pach or modify system.d nomeclature (since version 197) for wifi interfaces
Description

With version 197 of system.d wifi inetrfaces are not longer called wlanX but wlxXXXXXXXXXXXX whare the X are the digits of the mac adress
This definitely break down several scripts and tools functionality.
It complicates a lot the use of command line to manage interface such as ifcofmgi, iwconfig, cli for network manager.
The argument given to justify this change is that "it will avoid confusion between interfaces as the mac is unique"
Well, it is much more confusing like that tahn with the old fashioned way where wlan0 was the internal interface, wlan1 the first USB, wlan2 the second one...
Who the hell knows the mac address of all it devices?
Who is not clever enough to remember that wlan0 is the internal and wlan1 the first USB he plugged in?
The guys taht implemented this changes are defintly noyt people taht use a lot the command line to configure their wifi otehrwise they would never have done that

Steps To Reproduce

Update your sistem with "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" , plus un new USB tthan you will see this new way to call interface :

Instead of wlan1 i get the very handy wlx00c0ca849eac (mac adress of the device)
