Description

Hello,

I've downloaded the latest version of Kali Linux amd64 / gnome / ISO / 1.0.3 / direct download (from kali.org), after installing it when i go to the System Monitor it states "Release Kali Linux 1.0 64-bit". Shouldn't it state "Release Kali Linux 1.0.3 64-bit?!

Can you please fix it?

This is just a matter of updating the files in base-files (/etc/os-release, /etc/debian_version) but it's not clear that there's value in updating it for each minor release.

We update those files on every major release only.
