maskprocessor provides mp32 and mp64 executables, not maskprocessor. Is that a change compared to older releases of Kali?

Is that a problem?

Yes, it was my problem.
"mp32 '^a$1$9$?d$?d' > prepend_appercase_and_append_19XX_digits.rule" command works.

Thanks for your quick reply.
