Summary0000382: Kali Live Build Broken Dependency
Description

1) From a regular build:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnome-core : Depends: gnome-user-share (>= 3.0) but it is not going to be installed

2) After adding gnome-user-share explicitly before gnome-core
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnome-user-share : Depends: apache2.2-bin but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

3) After adding apache2.2-bin explicitly before gnome-user-share
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
apache2.2-bin : Breaks: gnome-user-share but 3.0.2-1 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Steps To Reproduce

Build, adding the packages in the description incrementally

Additional Information

I assume this is some sort of problem caused by moving to Wheezy

I'm not quite sure what you're doing. In Kali, apache2.2-bin doesn't break gnome-user-share. This is a change in apache2.2-bin >= 2.4 which is in Debian unstable.

You seem to have mixed repositories in your configuration.

What are the exact steps that you followed to encounter this problem ?

Hey rhertzog. I've determined that this is not an issue with Kali but something to do with my own repos or pinning. Feel free to close out this issue.
