Summary0003986: The display blinks
Description

On a Asus F751S, Kali Linux is the only supply on wich the display doesn't work : the screen is black.
When the mouse pointer is moves or when something is loading, the displays work.

It could be problem from the drivers or the graphics board with Kali Linux.

Additional Information

It seems that the Asus are the only one concerned.

I actually proposed this 1 hour ago, but can you also try this solution:

Try editing the startup parameters by adding "-noagp -noapic -nolapic irqpoll" and try with them again + adding "acpi=off" the second time and tell me if the same output/error occour?

In fact, the problem comes from the graphic boards Intel wich is new.
I managed to fix this problem by updating Linux with
"apt update && apt upgrade"
