| Summary | 0004181: no matching kernel modules found when installing Kali from PXE | ||||
| Description | I am getting an error that has happened several times before. When installing from a PXE server it fails since there are no matching kernel modules. This happens when someone updates the kernel modules but does not also update the netboot.tar.gz. Could we get an updated netboot.tar.gz for the new kernel modules? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Try to install from PXE from the netboot image. Error occurs | ||||

It would help if you said which netboot.tar.gz you were using (date of download), or at least which kernel it uses. We have updated debian-installer yesterday to work with Linux 4.12 so you have a current netboot.tar.gz here: |
