Summary0004204: Some Package files are 0 bytes for debian-installer/binary-amd64 directories
Description

There are 2 directories in the Kali Repositories that have a 0 byte Packages file and a 20 byte Packages.gz file.

http://http.kali.org/dists/kali-rolling/contrib/debian-installer/binary-amd64/
http://http.kali.org/dists/kali-rolling/non-free/debian-installer/binary-amd64/

My PXE install is looking for these files and not finding them. This causes the install to fail with an error stating that there are no packages matching running kernel in archive. I have checked multiple official Kali mirrors and found they all have the same issue. Can we get those files updated properly?

Steps To Reproduce

Update your local mirror against http.kali.org.
Try to install via PXE
Error occurs when installing packages

Your diagnostic is wrong. Your problem is that your mirror 192.168.44.65 is not up-to-date and does not have udebs for the latest kernel that we uploaded a while ago. As a proof, in the picture you attached, the date of the signature on the Release file dates back to August 4 while the new kernel has been uploaded on August 21: http://pkg.kali.org/pkg/linux
