Description	Has the 'preload' package been removed from Kali Linux or is it a bug?

rhertzog 2018-08-29 07:02 administrator ~0009534	This packages comes straight from Debian and it's been a year that it's no longer part of Debian testing due to a serious bugs that nobody handled: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/preload https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=861937 We're not going to invest our time into fixing this package. Feel free to contribute to Debian to get this fixed. (Also this package is much less useful than in the past, the boot times have considerably reduced since it was introduced, largely thanks to systemd)
