Summary | 0005407: weird byte transformation
Description | when using "free" command, the it shows the number in "mem" section to be exactly 16309148, so when i write "free -h" command it should show 16Gi in the "mem" section, but it shows 15Gi. Now i thought that was just rounded up weirdly but when i then i wrote the "free -m" command and it showed me a number 15926 in the "mem" section. Then I used a command "free -g" and it showed me number 15 in "mem" section. Anyway in the "Swap" section with the "free" command it shows me exactly 16659452, then with "free -h" command same section shows me 15Gi, then with the "free -m" command the same section shows me the number 16268 and then the command "free -g" shows me 15. Now that i think that is a problem, since it's a problem with bytes and could affect other places in the system. I'm not sure but u will know it. Good luck!
