| Summary | 0000570: Tool Request - Panoptic (LFI exploitation tool) | ||||
| Description | Hello, I would like to introduce Panoptic, a tool which I think would make a great addition to Kali. Panoptic is fully-featured, open-source penetration testing tool that automates the process of search and retrieval of content for common log and config files through LFI type vulnerabilities. It was written in Python by Miroslav Stampar and Roberto Salgado and it is the only tool of its kind. Panoptic succeeds in finding sensitive files by using an extensive list of common file paths. The common file paths are all found under the cases.xml file, wherein each of these file paths are classified into software, software category, OS and type of file (config or log). The official page and repository for Panoptic can be found here: https://github.com/lightos/Panoptic Best regards, | ||||
