Summary | 0005706: Include Tor service/Torsocks (not Tor Browser) in Kali Rolling
Description | The tor service is a great feature to have for anonymization. The torsocks proxy is also a useful tool and can be appended to some Linux commands (ex: wget) to hide one's identity. Also if one wishes to use the tor proxy to browse, they do not need the tor browser. A simple script can be used to auto-configure Firefox-ESR to temporarily use the tor proxy: https://github.com/rootVIII/sec_browse. I always end up installing the tor service within a new Kali installation,
Steps To Reproduce | N/A | ||||
Additional Information | This is not a request for the Tor Browser, only the Tor service.

|
We already have everything required to setup tor if you want: http://pkg.kali.org/pkg/tor apt install tor torsocks |
