Disabling 3D acceleration via VM Manager fixes this issue, at least it did for me. Must be something to do with that. |

Changing the xfwm (compositor) vblank method to 'xpresent' or 'off' resolved this for me under VMware Workstation 15.5 with 3D acceleration enabled. Restart xfwm with vblank set to 'xpresent': Restart xfwm with vblank set to 'off': Permanently set the vblank method: Documentation on xfwm vblank: |
