Summary | 0005928: Kali xfce lockscreen resolution not changing
Description | My yoga 2 pro supports 3200x1800 and is active by default. I've changed the resolution to 1920x1080, but the lock screen is staying at 3200x1800 and its not applying. I can't find a place to change the resolution for the lockscreen. This needs to be fixed, or please implement a setting in the systemsettings.
Steps To Reproduce | (3200x1800) resolution needed. Change to lower resolution and lock screen
The lockscreen is handled by lightdm which is run before the user session and uses the default resolution configured by Xorg. You can always manually configure Xorg with a file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ (see man xorg.conf). But we will likely try to setup some hook that reduces the resolution by default for Hidpi screens as proper Hidpi support throughout Xfce is not achieved yet. |
