Thanks for the wonderful distro.

The nvidia-driver and nvidia-cuda-toolkit packages prescribed by the Kali GPU installation steps ( do not include all the packages that the official nvidia drivers include (

I'm not sure if this is the only once, but the package "libnvidia-encode1" is missing from the official Kali steps.

I'm not sure if this package is considered optional, but some video encoders expect it. Since it's part of the official nvidia install, could it be added to the Kali steps?

And any other optional package?

Steps To ReproduceInstall the nvidia driver using the Kali steps:

Separately, install the the driver using the official nvidia steps:

You will see that the files included in the "libnvidia-encode1" package ( are present in the nvidia install, but not in the Kali install.
