Summary0006921: Missing Youtube-dl package, producing 404 error
Description

I was about to install "youtube-dl" package, while the APT installer showed me 404 error code.

AS You see, there is no "2020.11.12-1" version in the repository.

I am using standard (adde by system installer) repositories. Nothing more.

Steps To Reproduce

In the terminal:

apt install youtube-dl

Additional Information

Hmm.. there was something about DCMA (here the talk): https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/399301-Youtube-dl-GONE%21/page2?s=efbe3b3f2229ada6e5afec7b3b4e1acf
But youtube-dl is still available on GH here: https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/

If You need additional information, please let me know. I will try my best.

You have (probably obviously) missed to run "apt update" before running "apt install".

Yes, apparently, but I remember that I checked updates before the package installation.
Now I see there was a big update and upgrade, just followed it, I am up to date.

youtube-dl works now.

Can be close now, thanks.
