Summary | 0007824: lightdm-webkit2-greeter
Description | [Name] - lightdm-webkit2-greeter [Version] - 2.2.5 [Homepage] - https://github.com/Antergos/web-greeter [Download] - https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home:antergos&package=lightdm-webkit2-greeter#directDebian [Author] - Antergos [License] - GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 [Description] - A modern, visually appealing greeter for LightDM. lightdm-webkit2-greeter is used to customize and rice lightdm. With this package being added to the kali repos, it will allow advanced users that use tiling WMs (like i3-gaps) to customize their Kali installations even further.

Hello - thanks for the suggestion. It looks like there isn't an upstream any more: > This repository has been archived by the owner. It is now read-only. |

Hey g0tmi1k. I know, but the issue is Antergos is now no more, hence that. But this is what is used to theme lightdm, which is used in XFCE4, i3-gaps etc. Alternatively, here's the Arch Linux package: https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/lightdm-webkit2-greeter/ By the looks of it, it seems to be maintained/updated there (correct me if I am wrong). But regardless if it is being updated or not, it can still be added to Kali, can't it? After all, it is used to expose a JavaScript API to themes to allow the ricing of the greeter. |
