Description

My computer is DELL G15 5515 R5-5600H RTX 3050,since installed the Kali Linux 2022.3(Kernel 5.19) and into the XFCE&Gnome desktop.I can't setting the screen brightness.only by "echo (number) >> /sys/class/backlight/(devie name)/brightness"this way can set brightness.But in kali kernel 5.18 not exisist this Problem.This is useless by upgrade Nvidia driver and AMD Drivers.

Steps To Reproduce

1.install Kali 2022.3
2.into Xfce desktop
3.upgrade the system and install Nvidia drivers by kali document
4.reboot system
5.problem in Setting screen brightness.

And consider that we are not kernel developers, if you know of a fix, we will gladly integrate it in our kernel build. Otherwise your best bet is to wait the next kernel update and keep around an old kernel that works for you (for example by installing an old known-working Kali image).
