To all those people who think they are better than all the rest of us. The issue error message The postgresql version is obsolete. It appears in the "Everything" iso but not in net installer. So to the would bee's try and help people and don't have the holier than thou attitudes |

As the other person said, this is not a bug, this is also a duplicate. You don’t get this message on the net installer because there is nothing but the installer and kernel on the net installer, versus everything having, well, practically everything on it. This is a bug tracker and not a support forum, and that message is expected, when you have an older version of postgresql, and a new one is installed, because it does not upgrade your databases, that is something that you, as the end user need to do. While I will agree that the message can be confusing, Postgres is a package that we get from Debian and we do not fork it, so if you feel that message could be made clearer for newer users, that is a bug you should submit to them. However this message you get is expected and can be considered working as intended. |

I found another way to get everything I needed that didn't change postgresql version 15. So I won't be taking any advice from any body hear. |
