Summary | 0008212: Printscreen doesn't work during context menu
Description | The printscreen/snapshot doesn't works while the context menu is open.. And so sometimes reporting bugs also becomes quite difficult as there is no way of taking the screenshot if there is problem regarding the context menu...
Steps To Reproduce | Just right click on the desktop or on something in the files and hit prntscr.. No snapshot will be taken..
Is this something Kali specific or wouldn't it be better to create a GNOME/your Desktop Environment bugreport? |
Other distros are taking screenshots quite fine.. |
Other distros are probably also not using bleeding edge versions of GNOME etc. Remeber that Kali seems to use Debian testing since some time which could ship unstable versions of software. There have been quite a lot bug reports recently which had their origin from Debian testing usage. |
This bug should be reported to the desktop you are using. We don't modify the code from the desktop environment so this is not a bug introduced by Kali |
