| Description | when your trying to create a payload in Metasploit is always comes out with this error (Exploit completed, but no session was created.) no mater what you do what you change it will never work. this is a big problem for me because i am trying to learn ethical hacking but not being able to use this is feature it makes it very difficult | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | use any tool like setoolkit or et least something that creates a payload and listener command sudo setool kit option 1 Social-Engineering Attacks then option 4 Create a Payload and Listener and last option 2 Windows Reverse_TCP Meterpreter. fillin your ip and port that you want the listener to run on. it will ask do you want to start the payload and listener now? press yes | ||||

I've tested it locally and meterpreter is working without issues. I recommend testing the commands locally before trying to deploy a payload to another machine. That way you can check that what you executed is correct. I closing this as it's not a bug. I recommend asking for help on kali's discord or forums, where other users can better help you |
