Summary | 0008612: mssql-cli?
Description | I was going through my tools for all kind of apps and I found in a Reddit thread the following tool It seemingly was / is in the pip repos, and was seemingly installable via apt install back than. However, now it is not. On Github the last update is nine months ago and the latest release from 2020 Can we still get it into Kali or some similar tool? Although I am aware that most MSSQL Servers will not be reachable that easy from Kali systems. I put it under bugs because it was once installable and not sure if it's just a unresolved packaging issue. Sadly, I couldn't search easily that name in the other issues to look for similar issues, as the system does not provide that functionality :(
nvm - i didnt see the "deprecated" notice in the repo apt install sqlcmd is seemingly enough to install the microsoft tool |

As you noted, that repo is deprecated and shouldn't be used. |
