@steev to reproduce the issue you can follow the steps below. On kernel 6.1.0-12, executing aireplay will disrupt the targeted 5Ghz network but this functionality is broken on kernels 6.3, 6.5 and 6.6.
Good to note, I only have MediaTek cards so can not confirm if the issue also exists on other cards or not.
