I have also been having this issue trying to update a couple of raspberry pi 4Bs with the AWUS036ACS Alfa USB adapter. Its annoying as I can't change the adapters for two of the raspberry pi's but need updated software in them however since updating, they no longer capture wifi devices.

If I tried to remove the module with modprobe I get the error "segmentation fault".

Once I get that error, if I try to shutdown the RPi, it hangs on "KVM initialisation".
It would be great to know what is causing this and how to fix it.
