| Summary | 0008976: Themes and Icons revert after every starts aka boot | ||||
| Description | After updating to Kali Linux 2024.3, my custom themes and icons revert to the default GNOME theme every time I reboot. I have already moved my themes and icons to the system-wide directories (/usr/share/themes and /usr/share/icons) and applied them using GNOME Tweaks. They work until I restart, but then they reset to the defaults. Additionally, I don't see the Interface option in GNOME Tweaks or in dconf. What might be causing this, and how can I make my custom settings persist across reboots? Any help would be appreciated!" | ||||
