Summary | 0009109: Authentication Bypass
Description | Hello sir, when I try to open a website or software, it asks for authentication. However, if I press the 'Cancel' button four times without entering a password, it opens anyway.
Sure that you are at the correct place here? |
|
That dialog that asks for a password is used to unlock your system's keyring. If you cancel it 3 times it gives up and runs without it. It's common to see this if a keyring is configured but the system is set up to log in without user's password. |
