Summary | 0009225: Shortcut Keys Not Working Initially in Kali Terminal Emulator
Description | In the Kali Linux Terminal Emulator, when the “Start with preset: 2 terminals vertically” option is enabled under Preferences > Appearance, the subterminal shortcut keys (e.g., Collapse Subterminal, Top/Bottom/Left/Right Subterminal) do not work upon first launch. However, once a user manually clicks on any “Action” button once (via mouse), all shortcut keys begin to function as expected.

Shouldn't this be reported to the developers of that terminal software? |

We provide the package for qterminal unmodified from Debian. You should try filling the bug report directly to the upstream repositories |
