You need to have mirror enabled during installation. If not, add them back and refer to this link - http://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?72-Adding-Mirrors-After-Install

Make sure the Host has been installed Extension Pack.

apt-get update
apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)

Click on "Install Guest Additions ..." on the "Devices" menu.

Go to /media/cdrom. Copy the VBoxLinuxAdditions.run to /root/

Then go to /root/ and run ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
