I have the same problem, you need to start with the previous kernel or sudo apt remove xtrx-dkms |

I'm also having this issue. happened after I ran sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y. I have kali installed on bare metal. Edit: booted up the live USB i have to check the drive and the /boot folder is completely empty. /sys folder is empty too. Probably others. Gonna do a fresh install, but this is definitely something that needs to be fixed ASAP. |
