Description

gnome-screenshot, by default, doesn't save screenshots.

Steps To Reproduce

press PrtSc and nothing be saved

Additional Information

it may be corrected by set default directory in gsettings:

mkdir ~/screenshot
gsettings set "org.gnome.gnome-screenshot" "auto-save-directory" "file:///home/$USER/screenshot"

Using Kali-Linux 1.0.6 64bit gnome screenshot saves the picture under /
Try looking there OP.

Root's "home" should be located at /root and all images should by default go there.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
