Summary | 0001768: USB persistence - 32 bit
Description | When going over this, there seems to be a couple of issue. I failed to make it work at all on 32 bit, but it worked as it should on 64 bit. When digging is seems there are some issues with how it handles the volumes, and also I saw a message related to wrong kernel for the version when I tried to install to the keypen. I think from what I saw that its broken at 32 bit. Logging for information only, I regard the issue as minor/low. I was just trying to get it working on an old atom laptop.
Steps To Reproduce | Try setting up on 32 bit. Test. Persistence doesn't work as expected.
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
