HELLO

im facing this problem always when i do some pentest using SET tool , the log:

[] Started reverse handler on 0.0.0.0:25
[] Starting the payload handler...
[] Exploit running as background job.
msf exploit(handler) >

192.168.1.11 - - [26/Mar/2013 11:16:00] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 -
192.168.1.11 - - [26/Mar/2013 11:16:01] code 404, message File not found
192.168.1.11 - - [26/Mar/2013 11:16:01] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 404 -

the windows ip is 192.168.1.11 and the kali ip is 192.168.1.14

i always face this problem the error code 404, message File not found

non of the attack work , all of them showing the same problem

This doesn't help us find the issue. It's either in SET or Metasploit.
Provide a full log of the commands you are running in SET and all of the output. You can attach the log to this ticket.

ammm ok i think the problem was from the Apache , so it mast stopped before doing any SET attack , stopping Apache fixed my problem , thank you for your time dookie

The issue was that Apache was running.
