Summary0001935: Nexus 7 2012 Grouper has been slowly losing memory since nethunter install
Description

I've been tracking my memory usage since nethunter install with windows installer from official website. Its losing memory faster and faster and install was only yesterday! Fresh after install I had 9gb free memory....in 24 hours I have 7.93gb free memory. And it keeps dropping. Is Kali logging things that I need to delete routinely? I'm scared!

Steps To Reproduce

Normal usage with official windows downloaded software on 2012 nexus 7 16gb.

P.S. Exactly how much space should Nethunter and everything take up on my device? I may have goofed up the install?

I believe the problem you are experiencing is discussed here - https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/issues/36#issuecomment-61392964

I have done the steps mentioned in that solution, and it did solve my initial issues of losing 10gb of my memory from installing Kali nethunter. The massive loss in memory was my first problem and I googled it and found that solution. Now, the problem isn't one massive memory loss, it is a very slow trickle memory loss. Every time I use my tablet now, I lose about 50mb every 2 hours of use. Right now I basically have just stock nethunter files installed that were included in the windows setup manager offered by official website, I removed hacker keyboard due to glitches. Any suggestions to the slow memory loss from daily use? Did I start a script and its still running after several reboots? My nexus 7 even gave me the unresponsive black screen last night with 20% battery left. Power button unresponsive.
Came back to life after holding power and volume down for 10 secs.

Any help?

No clue as of your disk space loss, you might want to run a "find" command that will point out recently changed files, and check those.

I'm closing this thread as nethunter issues should be logged in our github page and not here.
