Summary0002026: gpsd not installed by default
Description

gpsd is not installed by default and i would consider this a regression from kali linux predecessor Backtrack. The repo also cannot find the source and throws an error.

Steps To Reproduce

attempt to install gpsd;
apt-get install gpsd gpsd-clients

apt-get install gpsd gpsd-clients

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package gpsd is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

Why is this a bug ? In addition gpsd is in the repos, you have a local issue with your repository list:

root@fringe:~# apt-cache search gpsd
fso-gpsd - gpsd subset compatibility daemon for the freesmarpthone.org frameworkd

gpsd-clients - Global Positioning System - clients
