Description

Error reading release file
The CD-ROM dose not seem to contain the valid "release file" , or that file could not be read correctly.
You may try to repeat CD-ROM detection but, even if it dose succeed the second time, you may experience problems later in the installation.

The falling step is "detect and mount the CD-ROM"

Additional Information

the above mentioned error in the description is stopping my installation which m trying to do in my laptop along side WINDOWS 8 which came pre installed in my laptop.i tried 1.1.0 version but still not working. it installs easily in the virtual machine but not working on physical machine. also the option in the system tools which says "install Kali Linux" it doesn't open when i tried to install it after booting it in live.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
