Summary | 0000219: pyfoca - Several python scripts I have developed and would like to submit
Description | I am not sure of the process here, but I am guessing someone would contact me more about this information and request that I send them the scripts directly. Or, is there some type of process I should go through to make sure my code does not get claimed by anyone else? Anyways, I have a few tools that I would like to submit, and I am 100% positive that there are no other tools out there that does the same thing -- this is the reason I've created them.

I've added my tool to my new github here -- https://github.com/altjx/ialtjx/blob/master/pyfoca/pyfoca.py I'm also attaching a screenshot of the usage menu plus it actually being used. Currently, there is metagoofil which will provide similar functionality, but I believe my script provides a better output and more simple. Also, my last time using metagoofil produced several errors which I did not bother to troubleshoot (although I spoke with the developer). Also, there is the FOCA (microsoft windows) application which will do this; however, taking screenshots for reports from this application involves taking 3-4 screenshots as it does not provide all the details in one tab. Therefore, my script harvests files and extracts metadata from them, outputting them into a nice format. This information gathering tool could be used to harvest documents, grab information from those documents, and potentially use the usernames for password attacks against services such as OWA. |

Just wanted to request an update on this support case. Thanks. I am really interested in developing useful pentesting tools and contributing to Kali Linux; however, I'm unsure as to how long the normal wait process is in this type of situation. So I apologize if I am becoming annoying. |
When something happens you will know as a comment will be posted here. Please be patient as there is no 'time frame' or 'normal wait process' |
Thanks! |

To help speed up the process of evaluating the tool, please make sure to include the following information (the more information you include, the more beneficial it will for us):
This is python 2 - which is EOL. |
