Description

Hello,
After upgrading a fresh kali install, the metasploit stopped working

Steps To Reproduce

so i did (apt-get purge metasploit, rm -rf /opt/metasploit)
then apt-get update, then apt-get install metasploit,
after the installation is finished tried msfconsole, got an error that msfconsole not found, tried a couple of fixes to get the file into the directory,
then got a new error that ruby 2.1 is needed,
so got back to the live cd, updated metasploit, copied metasploit folder into the upgraded kali, tried to run it, runs normally but msfrpc and worker start for a couple of seconds then stop and it says FAIL after running service metasploit status, i don't know where to work from there....
