Summary0002499: Kali PXE boot fails if URL uses DNS lookup
Description

The "fetch=" parameter works with an IP-based URL but not a name/DNS-based URL. The settings in /etc/resolv.conf appear to be properly set from DHCP. Both wget and nslookup fail to work but i saw no packets hitting the DNS server.

Additional Information

Observed in v1.1.0a and v2.0.0.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
