| Description | I set up kali 2.0 today and did ran apt-get update & & apt-get upgrade. Everything went fine. My WiFi connect says I'm hooked up. I go into ice weasel type in Google.com and says unable to connect to server. I go into wifi settings and get a prompt saying the system network services are not compatible with this version. I do some googling and find a way to connect to WiFi using the terminal. I execute it and I am able to connect to the I able to connect to the Internet again. I wonder if I'll have to do this to all networks so I try to connect to an open WiFi in my neighborhood, but it doesn't let me switch connections. http://www.blackmoreops.com/2014/09/18/connect-to-wifi-network-from-command-line-in-linux/ that is the link to the steps I used to connect. |
