Summary0002821: Grub failed to detect windows volume on last upgrade
Description

just did today "apt-get upgrade" and my kali updated linux headers and linux image , when the packages were installing i notice that Grub failed to detect Windows volume partition .
I rebooted kali to check it out and i notice that on boot startup Windows volume was not there for selection , only kali were .

next image shows under kali explorer the windows volume .

Steps To Reproduce

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y

on 28/02/2015

i solved the situation by going to terminal and updating grub .

sudo update-grub

Windows volume is now on boot again
