Summary0002984: apt-get update has been running for over 2.5 hours at 37% waiting for headers
Description

I just installed a new copy of Kali 2.0 and during the install it said it could not find the installation mirror. I told it to continue without it and I'd update it later.

When I got into a terminal and ran apt-get update, it threw a segementation fault error. Googling around, I found an article stating I should make sure /etc/apt/sources.list had the following lines, which I edited in:

deb http://http.kali.org/kali sana main non-free contrib
deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security/ sana/updates main contrib non-free

I ran apt-get clean && apt-get update and that's when it ran to about 37% and has been hung there for more than 2 and a half hours as shown in the attached .jpg.

Steps To Reproduce

1) leafpad /etc/apt/sources/list
2) remove commented items from installer and insert the following and save:

deb http://http.kali.org/kali sana main non-free contrib
deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security/ sana/updates main contrib non-free

3) apt-get clean && apt-get update
4) wait for more than 2.5 hours
5) issue bug report.
