| Summary | 0002989: P.C. crashes with no reason everywhere and hangs even on bios screen | ||||
| Description | I have upgraded from 1.1.0 , sometimes on the log on screen or after i log in immediately or after a short while, i get a black screen all of a sudden, sometimes it just freezes and when i restart i see multiple number "0" appearing and disappearing on the bios welcome screen but everything is working as intended and i get to the login screen sometimes but of course it freezes mostly on the log in screen Sometimes pushing restart solves it, powering off never. i had a similar problem without the 0 on the bios screen issue with all versions prior to 1.1.0 which was flawless. Thank you. | ||||

Please try Kali Linux Rolling 2016.1 to see if it helps. You might also want to try to upgrade your BIOS because there's no way that Kali Linux is responsible for 0 displayed on the BIOS screen. And if you ever report another problem, please include some useful diagnostic information (for example the output of the journal including the kernel messages, see "man journalctl"). |
