Description

Hi,

I get the following error message for kernel 4.0.0-kali1-amd64 on Kali sana amd64:

Ok, it works. No crash after some hours working with it. But I have a lot of problems with Gnome in this release. For example: I loose all my personalized settings when I do Alt+F2, execute some commands, and return to desktop (alt+f7).

Another problem is problem: wallpaper defined in gnone-shell.css is not displayed. Only appears a grey wallpaper.

Thanks, closing the ticket. For your GNOME problems, I suggest that you do some further investigations before possibly filing a new ticket.

Losing all the settings seems a bit unlikely. Do they reappear after boot?

Does disabling some GNOME Shell extensions avoid the problem? etc.
