Summary0003055: OpenVas 8.0 - Internal error upon a 'Full and Very Deep Ultimate' vulnerability scan
Description

Scans fail with an "Internal Error" message when using the Full and Very Deep Ultimate scan configuration.

This occurs after performing upgrading Kali 2.0 to Kali Rolling using the apt-get dist-upgrade command as well as a clean installation of Kali Rolling.

Steps To Reproduce

Create a target. Create a new scan and select your target. Choose the Full and Very Deep Ultimate scan configuration. Create Task. Run the task.

Additional Information

This was tested on a physical machine and a virtual machine. dist-upgrade from kali 2.0 to 2016.1 as well as a clean installation of 2016.1.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
