| Summary | 0003096: gdm3 crashes after disconnecting from second monitor via hdmi | ||||
| Description | I have an acer laptop, I usually connect to my TV via HDMI without any problems but since the new update, once I disconnect the hdmi cable (after being connected) the GUI simply crashes and the text interface appears. I can only restart gdm3 but that kills all running applications. | ||||

Please try again with Linux 4.4 uploaded recently to kali-rolling. Also it seems unlikely that this is an issue that we will invest time into. You should consider reporting this bug to the appropriate upstream project. You might get some assistance on forums.kali.org to better identify the problem first (look a dmesg, journal, etc.) |
