Summary0003126: medusa v2.2 ssh module missing
Description

Hello. I've run into and issue with medusa where the ssh module seems to be missing under different conditions. I've been able to reproduce this on a newly installed 64bit version of Kali Rolling and a version upgraded from Kali 2.0. Both are VM's. I have an 32bit version running on hardware that does not see this issue. I've verified the directory is present, but the module is missing. I've also tried purging and reinstalling the package etc.

Thanks!

Steps To Reproduce

medusa -M ssh -q

Medusa v2.2 [http://www.foofus.net] (C) JoMo-Kun / Foofus Networks <[email protected]>

IMPORTANT: Couldn't load "ssh" [/usr/lib/medusa/modules/ssh.mod: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]. Place the module in the medusa directory, set the MEDUSA_MODULE_NAME environment variable or run the configure script again using --with-default-mod-path=[path].
CRITICAL: invokeModule failed - see previous errors for an explanation

Good catch. Effectively the upstream configure script behaves differently on amd64 compared to i386 and this results in this discrepancy...

I have fixed this in medusa 2.2-0kali2 that I just uploaded to kali-dev.
