Summary | 0003205: kernel panic on rolling with sdrplay rsp1
Description | Have an interesting one here, on my Acer Travelmate 8572T kali rolling crashes (kernel panic blinking caps lock) when i try to use my sdrplay SDR (http://sdrplay.com/) this used to work on sana. funny thing is that i can use it with kali rolling on my surface pro tablet, so it has to do with the hardware on the travelmate i suspect. Tested with live versions of sana and rolling.
Steps To Reproduce | Boot rolling live from usb install SDRplay API from http://www.sdrplay.com/linux.html run ldconfig install librtlsdr-dev libhackrf-dev libairspy-dev install and make dump1090 for sdrplay from https://github.com/SDRplay/dump1090 run ./dump1090 kernel panic ---------------------------------------------- Boot sana live from usb install SDRplay API from http://www.sdrplay.com/linux.html run ldconfig install librtlsdr-dev libhackrf-dev libairspy-dev install and make dump1090 for sdrplay from https://github.com/SDRplay/dump1090 run ./dump1090 working
Additional Information | Im not sure how you guys can resolve this one unless you have the same hardware so i am willing to debug if you can provide instruction on what steps i need to take.
