Summary0003411: w3af freezes always: force quit dialogue
Description

Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, no firmware issues.

Profile selection, as well as tests chosen, matter not.

Always freezes at 6.18 seconds until a force quit/wait box pops up. The unresponsive condition repeats regardless of wait/force quit choice.

Saw that this has been reported on other forums numerous times. Command line w3af works fine.

What do we need to resolve to get w3af-GUI working correctly?

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Run w3af's GUI
  2. Choose any scan/options
  3. Bundle up, because it's about to freeze...

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
